Signs and Symptoms of Foot and Mouth Diseases (FMD)
- Inability to eat
- Sore on the feet, lips and tongue of affected animal
- Pain
- Weakness
- Lameness
- Death
Prevention and Control of Foot and Mouth Diseases (FMD)
- Vaccination
- Isolation of diseased animals from healthy ones
- Bury the dead animals deeply
- Good management practices
B. Rinderpest (Cattle plague)
This is an infectious viral disease of cattle, domestic buffalo, etc.

- By direct contact with affected animal.
