CONSEQUENCES ON PHYSIOLOGICAL HEALTH
- Cancer: Excessive smoking can lead to cancer of the lungs;
- Diabetes: Excessive taking of alcohol can cause diabetes.
- Death: A person who abuse drug can be killed by the act.
- Premature Ageing: It can make you look older than your age
- Heart Attack: Excessive intake of alcohol can affect the heart and the blood vessel which leads to heart attack (cardiovascular disease).
CONSEQUENCES ON PSYCHOLOGICAL/MENTAL HEALTH
- Mental Illness/Disorder: Substances like Indian hemp, cocaine, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine etc. can cause mental disorder
- Hallucination: Intake of hard drugs can lead to wrong perception of objects.
