EFFECTS/CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF READINESS ON MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP

  1. CONSTANT FIGHT/CONFLICT IN THE HOME: When husband and wife are not ready for marriage relationship, it will affect the stability of the marriage hence they will not be able to settle their differences without the help from third party.
  2. UNHAPPY MARITAL LIFE: Lack of psychological fitness would not allow husband and wife to have a happy married life. Challenges faced in the family will be so intimidating to them.
  3. POVERTY: Lack of financial fitness is a serious problem that often leads to hardship, penury or poverty in marriage.
  4. SEPARATION: It can lead to unresolved conflict or separation in which though the couple have not declared the marriage dissolved, they are emotionally separated from each other or each of the couple decide to live separately.
  5. DIVORCE: Divorce means when the couple declare their marriage dissolved especially with legal backing. Lack of marriage readiness leads to constant conflict in the home which if not resolved can dissolve the marriage itself.
