Effects of Air Pollution

Air pollution has the following effects:

  1. Difficulty in breathing.
  2. It causes lung diseases e.g. asthma, and bronchitis.
  3. It brings about sneezing and possibly coughing.
  4. It limits the amount of oxygen intake.

Effects of Water Pollution

The effects of water pollution on the environment and personal health include the following:

  1. There will be outbreaks of waterborne diseases e.g. typhoid fever, and dysentery.
  2. There will be a shortage of water for domestic and industrial use.
  3. Shortage of farm products.

Effects of Noise Pollution

Noise pollution has the following effects on personal health and the environment:

  1. It causes high blood pressure or hypertension.
  2. It brings about anxiety.
  3. It can create intra-home conflicts and enmity.

Effects of Land Pollution

The following are the effects of land pollution on the environment:

  1. There will be a scarcity of land to buy.
