Meaning of Triphthongs
A triphthong is a vowel sound that glides successively through three qualities. It changes its quality in the process of articulation. It is not very common, only a few words in English contain the triphthong.
Examples:
/aiә/ in the word “fire”,
/aʊə/ in the word ” flower.
