1. Mention four (4) characteristics of culture.
The following are characteristics of culture:
- Culture defines a group of people.
- Culture is dynamic i.e. culture is flexible.
- Culture is socially learned.
- Culture is universal.
- No culture is bad or inferior. This is called cultural relativity.
- Culture is neither inborn nor a biological feature.
- Culture is cumulative.
(Any four of the above points at ½ mark each)

2. State two (2) consequences of large family size.
The following are consequences of large family size:
- The members may be malnourished, that is, they may not be able to feed well.
- There is tendency of fighting with one another in a big family.
