Definition of Presentation Package

A presentation package is a software program that contains a text editor and the ability to add charts and graphic images, such as photographs, clip art, or other objects so as to make a slide show for the purpose of communicating visually to an audience.

(i) Microsoft PowerPoint

(ii) OpenOffice.org Impress

(iii) Windows Movie Maker

(iv) Harvard graphic

(v) HP-iDraw

Features of a Presentation Package

All presentation packages should be able to carry out the following functions:

(i) Creation of Slides: Is used to create a collection of information that can be displayed sequentially.

(ii) Insertion of Pictures: It should have place holders that can hold pictures.
