Description of the Consonant Sounds /p/ and /b/
The sounds /p/ and /b/ are called bilabial plosive. While /p/ is a voiceless sound, /b/ is a voiced sound.

The sounds /f/ and /v/ are called labio-dental fricative. While /f/ is a voiceless sound, /v/ is a voiced sound.
