1. (a) Definition of Business Studies
Business Studies can be defined as a combination of inter-related business subjects which lead to learning of basic knowledge and skills in organizing business enterprises and office administration.
It is a vocational subject that combines office practice, book-keeping, commerce, keyboarding and computer studies which equip learners to participate in businesses and general office administration.
It is a subject that covers the basic elementary knowledge and skills in organizing business enterprises as well as general office administration.
(Any correct definition of business studies = 5 marks)
