ALLOCATION OF MARKS: ¼ mark each = 5 marks
SECTION B: ESSAY
ALLOCATION OF MARKS: 5 marks each = 10 marks. 10 ÷ 2 = 5 marks
1. (a) What is technology?
Technology is basically a systematic way of doing things or solving problems for the good of mankind.
Technology is the processes and products that make life easy and stress-free.
Technology is the application of scientific knowledge to the production of machines, tools and diverse products.
(1 mark awarded for a correct definition of technology)
NB: Teacher should award marks for any correct definition.
1. (b) Mention four (4) safety guidelines for motorists.
- No tinted spectacles should be used.
- Always use your seat belt.
- Avoid reckless driving.
- Observe the driving codes.
- Obeying all traffic rules.
(Any valid safety guideline for motorists at ½ mark each = 2 marks)
NB: Teacher should award marks for any other safety guideline for motorists.
