Question 1 (b)
(Each correct sentence takes ½ mark .=2) Total=10mks.
Question 2 (a)
- Irony: This is the use of words to suggest a direct opposite of what is said.
- Paradox: This is an expression which is absurd or false on the surface, but upon reflection is true.
- Alliteration: This is the repetition of the initial consonant sound in the line of literature.
Question 2 (b) (Any two @ 2mk each= 4mks)
- Social Discrimination: In the poem, there is segregation of some people in the Ibo society because of the notion that they have been dedicated to the gods.
