DiscussionsCategory: LoungeMUST READ: Rules for Using Classhall Discussions

Hello Esteemed Classhall Users,

Please read these rules carefully before posting questions, answers or replies on the Discussion forum. These rules are an extension of the guidelines found here.

1. Answers to questions should include reasonable explanation rather than short affirmative or negative statements.

Example:

Question: Was electricity discovered or invented?

Bad Answer: Yes, No, Maybe, I don’t know, Ask someone else, etc.

Good Answer: Electricity was discovered because electrical current or charges exist in nature and can be seen in natural phenomena like lightening and in creatures like the electric eel. To invent means to create something that never existed, but to discover means to find out new things or methods of using something which already exists in nature or which is hidden from general knowledge.

2. Statements or discussions that are irrelevant to the topic or subject are not allowed. Please stick to the topic of discussion and try to remain professional in your conversations. Other good topics not directly related to academics or subjects taught can be discussed in the Lounge.

3. The use of abusive language or insults is highly prohibited.

Failure to adhere to the above rules may lead to an infraction (deduction of points, denial of certain services, etc.) or an outright ban from the discussion forum or the Classhall.com utility.

Best regards,

Cliff Imasuen
