1.(a) Define technical drawing. (1 mark)
Technical drawing is a universal language used for communication among technical people.
Technical drawing is a language of communication that makes use of lines, curves, symbols and conventions.
1.(b) Uses of drawing instruments (4 marks)
- Compass: Used for drawing circles and arcs.
- Protractor: Used for measuring and marking out angles.
- Scale Rules: Used to produce reduced or enlarged sizes of objects.
- French curve: Used for drawing various types of curves.
