Satellite Transmission
A satellite is any object that goes around a planet in a circular or oval path. The moon is Earth’s natural satellite at a distance of 240,000 miles. Other satellites that meet this definition are human-made and have been launched into space to do specific tasks.
A communication satellite (sometimes shortened to COMSAT) is an artificial satellite in space for telecommunications.

Features of Satellite
- It boosts worldwide information transmission.
- It offers telephone and television communication to different countries.
- It enables live broadcasts of significant events, like World Cup matches and Olympic games.
- It allows instant communication of events and information.
Advantages of Satellite Communication
- Satellite coverage greatly exceeds precision.
- Satellite transmission costs are independent of the distance from the coverage center.
