Meaning of Information Transmission

Information transmission is the process of sending messages or data from one person or source to another.

Information transmission involves sharing information with others to get the right responses. It is the act of communicating information.

Modes of Information Transmission

Information transmission has two modes:

  1. Informing someone.
  2. Being informed.

Methods of Transmitting Information

Various methods of transmitting information include:

  • Charts.
  • Mobile phones (GSM Set).
  • Newspapers.
  • Radio.
  • Telephones.
  • Television.

Chart

A chart is a visual representation of data, where data is shown using symbols like bars, lines, or slices. Charts make it easier to understand large amounts of data and their relationships. They can be read more quickly than raw data and are clearer when presented as horizontal bar charts.

GSM Set (Mobile)

A mobile phone, also known as a cell phone, is an electronic device used for making phone calls over a wide geographical area.
