Land Reclamation Methods

Depending on the environment, different methods have been employed to displace water logging in an environment. These methods include afforestation, construction of barrier etc.

Afforestation

It is a method by which trees are planted on a land area to protect the soil. When this is done, evaporation reduces the volume of surface water.
