IMPORTANCE/ADVANTAGES OF GOOD FAMILY REPUTATION
For a family to have good reputation in any community, that family must have lived above board. The family must be a good representative of the larger family and must possess some good qualities that score it higher among others.
- Good Name: It is often said that ‘good name is better than gold’. For the family to have good name, every member of the family will have to work hard towards it. This will be shown in the character of individual member of the same family.
- Mutual Respect Among Family Members: It promotes mutual respect among family members
- Respect from Other Members of the Community: Good where the family has good reputation, it attracts respect from other members of the community to the members of such family.
- Fosters Hard Work: This is another way by which families build their reputation. Any family which works very hard in the community is always richer and highly respected by other members of the community.
