Introduction

Drug problem or drug abuse is a global phenomenon affecting all parts of the world. It affects all fabrics of a nation.

To remedy or curb the situation, the federal government has put in place several laws against the abuse and trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

It has arguably proclaimed control agencies like National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
